Kiefer Sutherland Starts the Hunt for Boyd Holbrook in First Trailer for THE FUGITIVE Series
The upcoming streaming service Quibi has released the first trailer for their upcoming series reboot of the classic story The Fugitive. Kiefer Sutherland takes on the role of Detective Clay Bryce, who launches a manhunt for Mike Ferro, who is being played by Boyd Holbrook.
Bryce is basically the detective character that was played by Tommy Lee Jones in the classic 1993 movie. Holbrook’s character is the equivalent of Harrison Ford’s character Dr. Richard Kimball. The new series actually looks like it could make for an entertaining series, and here’s the synopsis:
When a bomb rips through the Los Angeles subway train he’s riding on, blue-collar Mike Ferro (Holbrook) just wants to make sure his wife, Allison, and 10-year-old daughter, Pearl, are safe. But the faulty evidence on the ground and “tweet-now, confirm-later” journalism paint a nightmarish picture: it looks to all the world that Mike was responsible for the heinous act. Wrongfully—and very publicly—accused, Mike must prove his innocence by uncovering the real perpetrator, before the legendary cop (Sutherland) heading the investigation can apprehend him.
Warner Bros. Television is producing the series, and it’s set to be released in April 2020. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think!
