Kim Cattrall Cast in Spin-Off Series HOW I MET YOUR FATHER at Hulu

Sex and the City actress Kim Cattrall has joined the cast of the Hulu spin-off series How I Met Your Father. She joins the previously cast Hilary Duff, Chris Lowell, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, Francia Raisa, and Suraj Sharma. The show is considered a sequel series to the hit CBS show How I Met Your Mother, which ran for nine seasons.

Here’s the synopsis:

In the near future, Sophie (Hilary Duff) is telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the year 2021 where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.

Cattrall will recur as the future version of Sophie. This is fun casting, and I think Cattrall will be great in the part. I love the original series, and I hope How I Met Your Father is just as good. Are you looking forward to this new series?
