KING OF THE HILL Season 15 Teaser Drops a Nostalgia-Fueled Ride Through the Show’s Greatest Moments
The first trailer for King of the Hill Season 15 is here, and yeah… it comes packed with pocket sand and a whole lot of feelings. For longtime fans, this teaser isn’t just a preview, it’s a full-on trip back through the series’ most memorable moments before giving us a taste of what’s next in Arlen, Texas.
The clip leans hard into nostalgia in the best way. It runs through highlights spanning all 14 previous seasons, pulling from episodes that you’ll totally recognize.
We see Bobby’s caffeine meltdown, Dale Gribble doing what Dale does best with his pocket sand, and even a quick glimpse of Luanne from Season 13. That moment hits surprisingly hard. It’s the kind of reminder that this show has always had heart underneath the propane and deadpan humor.
Then the trailer pivots to new footage, and it’s classic Hank Hill energy. Hank, still very much himself, finds himself annoyed in a modern convenience store where everything is locked behind glass. It perfectly captures how the show continues to tap into everyday frustrations through Hank’s very specific worldview.
Season 14 already proved this revival wasn’t just a one-off nostalgia grab. It brought us back to Arlen with Hank and Peggy settling in again after their time in Saudi Arabia, and it connected with audiences in a big way. The success of that season made it pretty clear more was coming, and now we’re getting not just Season 15, but also confirmed Seasons 16 and 17.
The voice cast returning helps keep that authenticity intact. Mike Judge is back as Hank, with Kathy Najimy returning as Peggy. Stephen Root reprises Bill Dauterive, Pamela Adlon is once again Bobby Hill, and Lauren Tom returns as both Connie and Minh.
The role of Dale Gribble will transition to Toby Huss in the upcoming seasons following the passing of Johnny Hardwick, whose voice work defined the character for years.
There was already a lot of momentum behind the show’s return, especially after Season 14 outperformed X-Men '97 to become the most popular animated series across Hulu and Disney+.
It might be a rough world out there, but jumping back into King of the Hill feels like catching up with old friends.
