KING OF THE ROAD Adds an Achievement System to DUNGEONS & DRAGONS

King of the Road is possibly the most unique Dungeons & Dragons supplement I’ve seen in a long time. It comes from Bill Putrino and Steve “Jaspor” Orr and introduces a meta-game achievement system. This is like the achievement systems many video games have these days to give players extra challenges to complete. King of the Road brings achievements based on Race, Class, or even type of encounter such as combat or social. There are a lot of fun challenges put forth for players. In addition, the supplement even suggests DM try to use these as little things they can throw into the game to help create story hooks.

Looking to add some friendly competition to your Dungeons and Dragons games? Maybe gain some personal satisfaction as you play your character? Are you interested in adding an extra layer of fun and complexity to your campaign by implementing an achievements system? How about becoming a king? Well then, King of the Road is for you!

King of the Road provides a system that encourages exploration, creativity, ingenuity, and a friendly spirit of competition. This product includes lists of goals and achievements for characters to accomplish during their adventuring careers, together with mechanics to award and track points for each objective throughout the campaign.

You can purchase King of the Road from DMs Guild for $4.95.
