Kirsten Dunst Set to Star in Alex Garland's Next Film CIVIL WAR

Ex Machina and Annihilation writer and director Alex Garland has set up his next film project at A24, and it’s titled Civil War. It was also announced that Kirsten Dunst is set to star alongside Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Cailee Spaeny.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any story details. All that has been shared is that it’s set in America in the near future. Like many of you, I’m a fan of Garland’s work, and it’ll be interesting to see what he imagined up for this next movie.

The director is also currently working on another project, titled Men, which stars Jessie Buckley and Rory Kinnear, that A24 will release later this year.

As for Dunst, she most recently starred in Jane Campion’s Netflix film The Power of the Dog, and she earned a SAG award nomination for her critically acclaimed performance as Rose Gordon. I’ve always enjoyed Dunst in the projects she’s starred in and I’m sure she’ll be hella good in this one.
