Kit Harington Has a Message For GAME OF THRONES Fans
This article contains spoilers for Season 6, Episode 2 of Game of Thrones, entitled "Home." If you haven't seen it yet, turn back now.
Everyone gone who needs to be? OK, let's get to it.
As you all know by now, Jon Snow was brought back to life by Melisandre and the Lord of Light on last night's episode of Game of Thrones. (I wrote about it here.) This comes after an entire off-season of star Kit Harington and the rest of the cast having to fib (or, occasionally, straight-up lie) about Jon's fate in order to preserve the surprise.
Entertainment Weekly, HBO's preferred mouthpiece for all things Game of Thrones-related, asked Harington to record a message to the fans:
I think practically everyone figured Jon's resurrection was going to happen, so I think you're forgiven, Mr. Harington. And for those wondering what the rest of the season has in store for the former Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, apparently some important things are on the way:
“It’s a massive season for Jon,” Harington tells us. “It’s his biggest season for him so far.”
The actor was reportedly on set for longer than any other cast member during production on season six, so there's a lot more Snow to look forward to in the remaining eight episodes.
