Kit Harington Says He Filmed 15 hours of Fake GAME OF THRONES Scenes to Keep Season 7's Plot Safe
With only a few days remaining before the Season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones, we're learning more about how the show went above and beyond to protect its story. Jon Snow himself, Kit Harington, says they went as far as filming hours and hours of fake scenes.
Harington shared the information during his visit on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show. Kimmel grilled Harington, asking if he would meet a certain mother of dragons during season 7, but instead, Ned Stark's bastard son shared information about how they would trick paparazzi while they shot scenes:
"What I can say about this season is: we had a lot of paparazzi following us around, especially when we were in Spain, and we did fake some scenes. We put together people in situations where we knew the paparazzi were around so they'd take photos and that would get on the internet to fake scenes so people would think they were real."
Harington recounted that on one of his days off, he was involved in shooting a fake scene and he eventually ended up shooting three fake scenes that took 5 hours each.
Bummer for those of you who think you know what will happen based on those Jon Snow scenes you may or may not have seen swirling around the internet.
