Marvel’s Eternals looks like it’s gonna be a helluva film. I love what I’ve seen in the trailers and I believe that they are saving the best and most epic stuff for when we go and watch the movie. I’m excited and curious to see how director Chloé Zhao and the creative team handle these characters.

During a recent interview with Total Film, Kit Harington opened up a bit about his character in the film, Dane Whitman aka Black Knight. He explains that his character is "the human character of the story," and that "He's not an Eternal.” He also hopes that his role in this movie is just the beginning with his time in the MCU.

“He's a character who works with the Natural History Museum in London. But he's not an Eternal - that's the main takeaway! I've got no idea whether my character goes on or not. I had read up on who he could be, or might be. So there's the possibility for a longer trajectory. And hopefully, I think this is the tip of the iceberg for my character. I hope. But I just don't know, you know? I'm as in the dark as anyone else. And I try not to live too far ahead in the future with anything. Even when I was in Game of Thrones, even on the sixth season, I presumed the seventh season wasn't going to happen!"

It’ll be interesting to see how exactly they utilize Black Knight in the story and how his story arc will play out, not only in this film but in future MCU films, because I don’t think this will be the only movie we see him in.

"Marvel Studios' Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind's most ancient enemy, the Deviants."

The rest of the cast for the film includes Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, with Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena.

Marvel's Eternals will debut in theaters on November 5th.
