Bandai Namco is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Klonoa games with a new Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series. Out now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Steam, the collection features remasters of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil. Not only are they remastered, but players will be able to adjust difficulty and play in a two player co-op mode. A free demo of levels 1-1 and 1-1 two plus a boss fight for Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and the first level of Klonoa: Lunatea’s Veil is also available so you can see for yourself the improved graphics.

Fans of the games will also be interested in a “Special Bundle” DLC. While I think it’s a little too pricey at $19.99, here’s what you can get:

Digital Artbook and Soundtrack
Joka Mask (Joka from Klonoa: Door to Phantomile)
Tat Mask
PAC-MAN Hat
Don-Chan Mask (Taiko no Tatsujin)
Katamari Prince Hat (Katamari Damacy)

I would rather be able to unlock those hats and then just buy a separate artbook and soundtrack, but maybe that’s just me. I think the remaster looks nice, I didn’t have a PlayStation 1 as a kid so I never got into these games, but they look pretty fun so I might check it out thanks to this new collection.
