Knott's Scary Farm Has Been Canceled This Year
Not long after Universal Studios canceled its Halloween Horror Nights event, Knott’s Berry Farm has announced that their Halloween-themed event Knott’s Scary Farm has also been canceled.
We all knew that it was going to happen, but the fact that it has been confirmed is still a tough blow for Halloween fans. I love going to these kinds of events during Halloween, and Knott’s Scary Farm was always a must-attend.
In recent years, I’ve actually have enjoyed going to Knott’s Scary Farm more than Halloween Horror Nights. Hopefully, all of these events open back up next year! Here’s a statement that was shared by Knott’s:
“Regrettably, due to continued operating restrictions related to the pandemic we have had to make the very difficult decision to cancel our highly anticipated 2020 Knott’s Scary Farm event. We know that this news is disappointing, but we look forward with great enthusiasm to making 2021 Knott’s Scary Farm our best year ever.”
Also, in case you were wondering, the Queen Mary and Disney California Adventure have also canceled their separate-admission Halloween events. However, when it comes to Six Flags Magic Mountain, officials said that they are developing a modified version of their theme park’s Fright Fest event.
“We are planning to have something out there that excites families and our guests to get out there and come to the parks.”
That will be interesting. Regardless, Halloween has pretty much been canceled this year, and I’ll be staying in and watching horror movies all night eating my own Halloween candy.
