Update: Times have been added for the voice actor panel and the Virtual Token Booth.

This weekend is New York Comic Con and MCM Metaverse (NYCC x MCM Metaverse), and Konami has some fun plans for Yu-Gi-Oh! fans. The event will begin on October 8 and run through October 11 virtually. At the Konami Virtual Booth Page, fans will get a look at upcoming TCG releases as well as two new products that will make their debut at NYCC x MCM Metaverse. I’m personally hoping for duel disks with actual hologram projections, but I’d also take an official full-fledged digital simulator.

In addition, there will be an online panel with voice actors from the anime. It should be noted that it will be the cast of Duel Monsters, and not the later seasons. This panel will be hosted by Sam Black and will feature the original cast reminiscing about their time on the show and answering questions from fans. The panel will happen on Sunday at 7:05 PM ET.

Fans will also be able to find the Virtual Token Booth (opens at 10 AM ET) to make custom Token cards. That’s always fun. In addition, fans will be able to purchase the new Exclusive Game Mat featuring the latest alternative art for The Winged Dragon of Ra. It’s pretty fire. There will be other merchandise available for fans to enjoy. It should be noted that fans must have a shipping address in the US or Canada.

The biggest event happening though is the Yu-Gi-Oh! Remote Duel Extravaganza. There will be a variety of Remote Duel opportunities that fans can register and compete in for some fun prizes. You can find more details over on the official site, but in short, you register for the event, head over to the Discord, and pay a fee that varies by event. There will be Attack of the Giant Card tournaments, Duel Links tournaments, Speed Duel Constructed tournaments, Structure Deck: Sacred Beasts tournaments, and Win-A-Mat tournaments. The giant cards are Jinzo the Machine Menace, The Winged Dragon of Ra, and Egyptian God Slime from Legendary Duelists: Rage of Ra. There are a lot of cool prizes available and lots of ways to play. I personally love the idea of the Structure Deck tournament.

What do you think the new products are? What tournament(s) do you plan on entering?
