Kotobukiya Gives TRANSFORMERS Characters Optimus Prime and Megatron Anime Girl Makeovers
Kotobukiya has announced two new Transformers-themed statues. They reimagine Optimus Prime and Megatron as anime girls. Kotobukiya is known for some of the weird statues that they’ve made in the past so it’s not surprising that they’ve gone in this direction.
They’ve also shared some concept art showing off what these new versions of Optimus Prime and Megatron will look like. I imagine this is just the start of a whole line of Transformers anime statues that they will produce.
It’s interesting to see how they took certain details from the characters and adapted them into human form so that they keep the main characteristics of the characters.
