KRAVEN THE HUNTER Gets a Japanese Trailer
Sony Pictures has released a Japanese trailer for its upcoming Marvel movie Kraven the Hunter. It was also reported that a new 90-second sneak peek of the film will be shown at the screenings of Venom: The Last Dance.
I hope that this movie is good, but since it’s coming from Sony, I’m expecting a somewhat mediocre and messy film. The studio just doesn’t have a good track record with their live-action Marvel movies that aren’t Spider-Man.
Kraven the Hunter is the visceral story about how and why one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be. Set before his notorious vendetta with Spider-Man, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson stars as Kraven.
In Kraven the Hunter, Russian immigrant Sergei Kravinoff is on a mission to prove that he is the greatest hunter in the world. Taylor-Johnson called the project “a Marvel movie grounded heavily in the real world. We know he is a fierce hunter, a highly trained killer.” He excitedly proclaimed, “F**k yeah, it will be rated R!”
J.C. Chandor is directing the movie from a script by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man), and it also stars Ariana DeBose as Calypso, Russell Crowe as Nikolai Kravinoff, Fred Hechinger as Chameleon, Alessandro Nivola as an unknown villain, Levi Miller, and Catch-22 star Christopher Abbott as the main villain, The Foreigner.
Kraven the Hunter movie in theaters nationwide on December 13th, 2024.
