Kristen Bell and Leslie Jones to Star in QUEENPINS

Leslie Jones is teaming up with Kristen Bell for a new film. The film is a dark comedy called Queenpins and is said to be “in the spirit of Thelma & Louise and I, Tonya,” and like the latter, it is based on a true story.

I enjoy Jones and Bell so I’m actually pretty interested in the project. The premise is that they will “star as Phoenix housewives who create a scheme to counterfeit coupons and soon are sitting atop a $40 million coupon cartel.” I bet you weren’t expecting that one.

Queenpins is being written and directed by Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly. It should be noted that the film comes from CAA who is currently shopping the picture. Would you be interested in watching this film?
