Kristen Bell Officially Set to Return to GOSSIP GIRL at HBO Max

Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, The Good Place) has officially signed on to return to the rebooted series Gossip Girl that is coming to HBO Max. Bell will reprise her role as the narrator, and the original series creators and writers/producers Joshua Safran, Josh Schwartz, and Stephanie Savage are back to bring the story back to life. The series was based on the book by Cecily von Ziegesar.

Deadline provides the following series description:

Eight years after the original website went dark, a new generation of New York private school teens are introduced to the social surveillance of Gossip Girl. The prestige series will address just how much social media — and the landscape of New York itself — has changed in the intervening years.

Bell narrated all six seasons of the original series, so it’s only fitting to see (or hear) her come back to join the series this time around. Gossip Girl is set to return in 2020. Are you excited?
