Kristen Bell to Star in FANTASY CAMP
THR is reporting that Kristen Bell has been cast in the lead role of Fantasy Camp. The movie comes from STXfilms and will feature Bell as, “a junior high school teacher that faces her fears and pursues her dreams while attending a Broadway performing-arts camp for adults.”
As you may have guessed, Fantasy Camp will be a musical comedy, so we can expect plenty of singing. Greg Silverman (Edge of Tomorrow) will produce the film and Sid Karger wrote it.
I’m interested to see who else is in the film and who will direct it. Bell can be hit or miss with me, but if she has a good supporting cast, there’s a good chance I’ll catch this film.
Who would you like to see star alongside Bell? I could see Anna Kendrick having a role and I think it’d be hilarious if Idina Menzel had at least a cameo.
