Kristen Stewart is Writing a "Stoner Girl Movie" With Her Fiancée, and She Describes it As "Really F---ing Stupid"

Actress Kristen Stewart (Twilight, Spencer) has another project in the works. Aside from the films she is working on as an actor, Stewart announced last fall that she is stepping into the director’s seat, to make her feature directorial debut with the adaptation of The Chronology of Water, based on the memoir by Lidia Yuknavitch. Imogen Poots (The Father, Outer Range) will star in the film, and Stewart will adapt the screenplay with Andy Mingo.

Now, Stewart is working on another project, which she revealed in a chat with “The Idol” star Rachel Sennott for Interview Magazine. Stewart said that she is currently writing a screenplay for a “stoner girl comedy” with her fiancée, Dylan Meyer.

“Me and Dylan are writing a movie. It’s a stoner girl comedy, and it’s really fucking stupid. I think you’ll like it. But the reason I even thought of this is because our producer is our best friend. We’re starting a company. I’ve worked with so many people that I didn’t know and that I didn’t like for so long. It was definitely valuable, but also, fuck that.”

Stewart did not provide any further details on her stoner girl comedy, but it sounds intriguing for sure! Stewart played a hilarious stoner character in American Ultra, and I think this kind of story is right up her alley.

Stewart has a lot of projects on the forefront, and this was just announced, so we will keep you posted as it develops.
