Krysten Ritter Returning for Second Season of DEXTER: RESURRECTION at Paramount+

It’s been announced that actress Krysten Ritter is returning as a guest star for another season of Showtime‘s Dexter: Resurrection at Paramount+.

Ritter’s Season 1 character Mia, aka Lady Vengeance, a serial killer by night and sommelier by day, was killed while jailed, so we aren’t sure in what capacity she will be appearing.

Will she appear to Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) as his late father and sister have done before? Will she resurrect like Dexter himself? We will just have to wait and see.

Ritter joins the previously announced Uma Thurman, who returns for Season 2, reprising her character Charley. In addition to Ritter and Thurman, the new cast also includes newcomers Brian Cox as The New York Ripper, Dan Stevens as The Five Borough Killer, Bokeem Woodbine as Capt. Mixon, and Nona Parker Johnson will play Fiona Mixon.

From showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips, Season 1 of Dexter: Resurrection took place weeks after Dexter (Michael C. Hall) took a bullet to the chest from his own son, as he awakens from a coma to find Harrison (Jack Alcott) gone without a trace.

Realizing the weight of what he put his son through, Dexter sets out for New York City, determined to find him and make things right.

A description for Season 2 has yet to be revealed. Stay tuned for updates.
