Kumail Nanjiani Will Be Entering THE TWILIGHT ZONE

Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley) is headed to The Twilight Zone. The actor is set to star in one of the episodes that Jordan Peele is developing with writer Alex Rubens (The Last OG, Key and Peele).

There are no details on what the episode will entail, but I like Nanjiani and it’ll be interesting to see what episode he’ll end up starring in. He will join Adam Scott, who was cast in the remake of the classic episode “Nightmare At 30,000 Feet”.

As far as the other episodes of the series goes, we know that they are also developing remakes of “Nick of Time” and “Rewind”. I hope that the series isn’t just remakes of classic episodes! I hope that they throw some original stories in the series as well.

Peele isn’t only producing the series, but he’s also hosting it and stepping into the shoes of the great Rod Serling. When previously talking about the series, Peele explained:

“Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not only shed light on social issues of his time, but prophesied issues of ours. I’m honored to carry on his legacy to a new generation of audiences as the gatekeeper of ‘The Twilight Zone.'”
