KUNG FU PANDA 4 Plot Details Revealed by Jack Black at CinemaCon
During Universal Pictures CinemaCon presentation, Jack Black jumped out on stage to talk about his upcoming animated film Kung Fu Panda 4! The movie is still very early in development so they didn’t have and footage to share, but, Jack Black dramatically acted out the plot of the film for us, and it was hilarious!
In this next installment of the4 franchise, Po is being promoted to become the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace. But, before he takes on this new role, he has to embark on a journey to replace himself as the Dragon Warrior.
Po catches a thief named Shen who’s a fox and he gets this idea in his head and Shen, could be the one who replaces him as the Dragon Warrior. As you might expect, they have a rough relationship in the beginning, but the two characters become friends.
Po and Shen then have to leave the city to meet the Chameleon, who is a powerful sorceress, and this sorceress has the ability to summon any villains from the past. As you can imagine, this is bad news for Po, as he now has to fight and defeat every single one of them, which is pretty wild!
Black concluded his recount of the story with: "It's going to blow your roofs off!” So, if you are a fan of the Kung Fu Panda franchise, this next chapter of the story sounds like it’s something that we’re going to enjoy!
Kung Fu Panda 4 is currently set to hit theaters on March 8, 2024.
