Kurt Russell Joins His Son Wyatt Russell in Apple's GODZILLA AND THE TITANS Series

Kurt Russell has been cast in Apple TV+’s live-action series Godzilla and the Titans! This will be the first TV show he’s appeared on since the original Hawaii Five-0 in 1977! He will be joining his son, Wyatt Russell, in the series, which is pretty cool.

In the series, “following the battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco and the new reality that monsters are real, the untitled series will explore one family’s journey to uncover its buried secrets and a legacy linking them to the secret organization known as Monarch.”

There’s no word on who the Russells will be playing, but they will be joined in the series by Anna Sawai, Ren Watabe, Kiersey Clemons, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski.

WandaVision’s Matthew Shakman will direct the first two episodes, which is produced by Legendary Television and exec produced by co-creators Chris Black and Matt Fraction.

I would love nothing more than for this series to be good. But, I’m not really a fan of the films Godzilla: King of the Monsters or Godzilla vs. Kong. I know a lot of people liked those movies, but I thought they were laughably bad. Anyway, fingers crossed that this series will have better quality storytelling.
