Kyle Chandler Joins George Clooney's Post-Apocalypse Netflix Film with Felicity Jones

Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights, Argo, Bloodline) has joined the untitled post-apocalyptic Netflix film that George Clooney is directing and will also star in alongside Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything, On the Basis of Sex). The script is being adapted by Mark L. Smith (The Revenant) from the book Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton.

Deadline reports the following descriptions for Chandler and Clooney:

Chandler is set to play an American astronaut named Mitchell in the film, which follows the parallel stories of Augustine (Clooney), a lonely scientist in the Arctic, as he races to make contact with the crew of the Aether spacecraft as they try to return home to Earth.
