Kyle Hill Attempts to Scientifically Explain Super Saiyans

Long story short: electricity. Kyle Hill is the host of Because Science with Kyle Hill and it’s a fun show where Hill tries to use science to explain different aspects of popular culture. For example, a few weeks ago, he talked about Magneto creating small metal balls to escape his plastic prison in X2. In the most recent episode, Hill tackles Super Saiyans from Dragon Ball Z. How could Super Saiyans be scientific? Well, Hill looks at electricity for the answers to the hair standing up, the aura, the power of flight, and even energy blasts. It’s important to note that Dragon Ball Z is not bound by science and that’s the real reason for all of those awesome traits, but it’s still fun to see what possibilities there are for our own world.
