Kyle Hill Tests if GOD OF WAR's Leviathan Axe Could Actually Freeze Flesh and Blood
Gamers are greatly enjoying their time in God of War Ragnarok right now. A beloved weapon in the game and its predecessor is the Leviathan Axe which Kratos can use to wreck enemies. One property of the axe is its use of cold to freeze flesh and blood.
Kyle Hill decided to test if powers like this are actually feasible or if trying to use an ax to freeze things is a bit too fantastical. He bought an axe from Ancient Smithy and let it cool in liquid nitrogen. He then sets it in water to see if he can make ice followed by setting it in flesh (the blade was dull for safety concerns) to see what happened. In short, both instances worked and it’s a lot of fun to watch.
What’s your favorite weapon to cause havoc with in God of War Ragnarok? What other ideas from games should be scientifically tested?
