Kylo Ren's TIE Fighter in STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Has the Perfect Emo Name

Ever since Kylo Ren was introduced to the Star Wars franchise in The Force Awakens, fans have enjoyed joking around about and poking fun at all of his emo traits. Well, we’ve got a new little detail regarding the character to add to that list of traits.

Thanks to a Funko POP! package, it was revealed that Kylo Ren’s special TIE Fighter is called TIE Whisper. Yep, TIE Whisper is the perfect emo name for the space vehicle that Kyo will be flying around in the film.

I’m curious to see how Kylo Ren’s story arc plays out in the next movie. When previously talking about the character and what is interesting to him about playing Kylo, Adam Driver said, “That’s hard to say because we’re working toward something in particular with that character. I don’t want to give anything away."

We really know nothing about where the character is going, but a lot of fans have wondered if he will be redeemed. I’ll be shocked if that happens, though! When previously talking about that, director Rian Johnson said:

"Are you kidding? Vader was worse than Kylo ever was, I think, and Vader got redeemed. Also, I should just for the record [say] that I’m not involved in the writing of the next movie. I’m an audience member in it, just like you, so when I talk about what’s going to happen next it’s in the context of, as a fan, what I’m thinking of."
