LA LA LAND: Behind the Scenes Footage of Ryan Gosling Playing Piano on Set

One of the coolest technical achievements of Damien Chazelle's dazzling, wondrous Los Angeles musical La La Land is the fact that star Ryan Gosling spent three months learning how to play the piano in order to pull off all of the film's musical moments himself, without the aid of a hand double. The film has been at the center of a backlash since it became the favorite to win Best Picture at this weekend's Oscars, but stripping all of the outside drama away, I've gotta give it up to Gosling for such great work tickling the ivories.
