Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper Shine in This First Trailer For A STAR IS BORN
A wonderful first trailer has been released for the inspiring new film A Star is Born. The movie stars Bradley Cooper as country music star named Jackson Maine who discovers a talented young singer named Ally, who is played by Lady Gaga. As you'll see in the trailer, the two stars give fantastic performances.
In this new take on the tragic love story, Cooper plays seasoned musician Jackson Maine, who discovers—and falls in love with—struggling artist Ally (Gaga). She has just about given up on her dream to make it big as a singer… until Jack coaxes her into the spotlight. But even as Ally’s career takes off, the personal side of their relationship is breaking down, as Jack fights an ongoing battle with his own internal demons.
A Star is Born is a classic tale that has been told several times over the years. The first film was released in 1937, which starred Janet Gaynor. It was remade in 1954 with Judy Garland, and then again in 1976 with Barbara Streisand. This latest modern day version of the story looks like it'll be a good film.
The movie also stars Sam Elliott, Andrew Dice Clay, and Dave Chappelle. A Star is Born opens in theaters on October 5, 2018.
