Lady Gaga Confirms She's Joined JOKER 2 and It Will Mostly Be Set in Arkham Asylum
There’s a new bit of information that’s been confirmed about Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux.
We already know that the sequel will be a musical and Lady Gaga has officially confirmed that she has joined the film and will play Joker’s co-conspirator, Harley Quinn. We’ve also learned, thanks to The Wrap, that the movie will be mostly set in Arkham Asylum, and it will focus on Joker’s time there.
In the original film, Arthur Fleck is admitted to the Gotham City psychiatric hospital and not long before the end credits roll, it appears that he kills the doctor that was treating him before running off and being chased by guards. The insane character obviously doesn’t escape.

I’m curious to see how exactly they are going to pull this off. But, I imagine it will tell a new version of the story of how Joker and Harley meet and fall for each other.
The film’s working title, Joker: Folie à Deux, refers to the clinical term for the “shared madness,” hallucinations, and delusions of two people.
The movie is set to be released in October 4, 2024. Here’s what Lady Gaga shared on social media:
