Laika's MISSING LINK Will Be Released a Week Early

I love Laika’s films. They are absolutely amazing, and I think they’re often overlooked. Their next film is Missing Link and it will star Zach Galifianakis, Hugh Jackman, and Zoe Saldana. If you’re like me and are looking forward to this film, you might be happy to hear that it will be released a whole week earlier. This comes after Universal moved the release of The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle to 2020. Missing Link will now be released on April 12, 2019.

The charismatic Sir Lionel Frost considers himself to be the world’s foremost investigator of myths and monsters. Trouble is, none of his small-minded, high-society peers seems to recognize this. Hoping to finally gain acceptance from these fellow adventurers, Sir Lionel travels to the Pacific Northwest to prove the existence of a legendary creature known as the missing link.

Missing Link was written and directed by Chris Butler and is produced by Arianne Sutner and Travis Knight. The film will also feature the voice talents of Amrita Acharia, Stephen Fry, Matt Lucas, Timothy Olyphant, Emma Thompson, Ching Valdes-Aran, and David Walliams.
