Larry David Confirms That CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM Will Return for Season 12!

I’ve got some great news for all of you Curb Your Enthusiasm fans! Larry David confirmed over the weekend that the hilarious comedy series will return for Season 12!

David shared the big news at an Emmys event at the DGA presented by HBO Max. The event included a screening of the Season 11 episode “The Watermelon,” and there was a live panel discussion hosted by Rich Eisen that included Larry David, Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, J.B. Smoove, Cheryl Hines, Richard Lewis, and executive producer Jeff Schaffer.

Eisen posted the announcement on Twitter saying, “So, I was honored to emcee an [Emmys] panel for ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ tonight here in LA with most of the cast and asked Larry David the ultimate question: Will there be another season of Curb? He said yes.”

David didn’t offer any further details about what we will see in Season 12, but it’s exciting to hear that the series will return! While HBO Max has always been open to new seasons, Curb Your Enthusiasm returning is never a sure thing. The show only operates when David feels inspired to do more. There was a long stretch of time between 2011 and 1017 where we didn’t have any new episodes!

As a fan of the series, I’m extremely happy to see that David is inspired to keep going! When previously talking about the future of the season, Smoove told Variety, “I think Larry can see more seasons, more episodes, more storylines, based on what he has at his disposal. The more the world changes, the more toys he has to play with. He’s excited right now — his energy is great.”

It’ll be fun to see what kind of shenanigans Larry David finds himself in in Season 12!
