Latest iPhone Update Will Automatically Share Your Location During 911 Calls

This is one of those no-brainer innovations I'm surprised didn't happen sooner, but awesome nonetheless. Apple's iOS 12 will automatically share a caller's location with emergency services during a 911 call, which will take a lot of time out of making a potentially life-saving run. Additionally, The Verge reports that Apple is working with the tech company RapidSOS to help make the technology compatible with many 911 centers around the nation. 

As someone who never knows the address of a place I'm at off the top of my head, this could be, quite literally, a life-saver. Hopefully, other smartphones follow suit and start offering the same type of features!
