Laurence Fishburne Finally Shares His Thoughts on THE MATRIX RESURRECTIONS

For those of you wondering what The Matrix franchise star Laurence Fishburne thought about the most recent entry, The Matrix Resurrections, he has finally shared his thoughts. As you know, Fishburne was not involved with the film, which a lot of fans were bummed out about.

As for his thoughts on the film, he told Variety: "It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. And it wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. But I thought Carrie-Anne and Keanu really did their thing. Yeah, that's what I thought."

That’s a pretty diplomatic answer. When asked whether he felt like he had missed out on being a part of the iconic sci-fi franchise's revival, Fishburne admitted: "No, not really."

For the most part, I liked The Matrix Resurrections. I thought it was a fun movie that played with some cool and unique ideas. It definitely wasn’t perfect, but I thought it was an entertaining ride.
