Leaked ETERNALS Action Figure Reveals First Look at Kro, the Leader of the Deviants
A new Marvel Legends Series action figure has leaked and it features one of the characters of Marvel’s upcoming Eternals movie, Kro. Kro is the leader of the Deviants, who are confirmed to be the main villains of the story.
The character looks different than what we know him from in the comic books, but his character’s design and style fits in with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Judging by the character, it looks like this guy is going to be a CG character. We have no idea who will be playing Kro, though.
The character has the ability to shape-shift, and since the character is an occasional love interest to Thena, there’s a good chance that an actor has secretly been cast to play that side of him.
The film’s details have been kept under wraps, but here’s the synopsis that was released for the movie:
Marvel Studios' The Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind's most ancient enemy, The Deviants.
In the comics, The Eternals were sent to Earth 35,000 years ago by the Celestials to protect humankind from the Deviants. The director, Chloé Zhao, previously explained, “It’s about this group of incredible immortals, but through their journey, we really get to explore what it means to be human and humanity on our time on this planet.”
It’s also explained in a description for the film that following the events of Avengers: Endgame, “an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind's most ancient enemy, The Deviants.”
Director Chloe Zhao also teased that the movie will be bigger than Avengers: Endgame. It’s going to be really interesting to how this turns out.
The film stars Angelina Jolie as Thena, Gemma Chan as Sersi, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Richard Madden as Icarus, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, and Kit Harrington as an archeologist named Dane Whitman.
Eternals will be released in theaters on November 5th, 2021.
