Learn About Finances and Get Crazy High Turnip Prices in ANIMAL CROSSING: NEW HORIZONS Starting Tonight
Ally Financial wants to help Americans between the ages of 18 and 34 and have decided to reach out via gaming. They have learned that only about a third of Americans can answer four of five basic financial questions and they’re going to teach them using one of the most popular games currently: Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
The company has created Ally Island and will be teaching lessons in the game with the first one happening tonight. They’ll be talking about currency, interest rates, and real estate while also helping players improve their in-game finances. You can check out the premier of Ally Island tonight (October 23) at 7 PM ET via KangGaming’s Twitch. The premiere will also launch crazy exchange rates on the Stalk Exchange of 1,000 bells per turnip on Ally Island. WHAT!? Why did I forget to buy turnips this last week? There will also be a photo opportunity overlooking “Little Detroit,” the first golf tournament, and a lesson on using your savings at Bucket List Beach.
