Lebron James Is Producing A Reboot Of HOUSE PARTY

A reboot of the classic House Party films is coming, and it's all thanks to NBA star Lebron James. Comingsoon reported James will produce the film, which is being written by Atlanta writers Stephen Glover and Jamal Olori. James shared his vision for the film in an official quote, in which he claims the new films will not be a reboot:

“This is definitely not a reboot. It’s an entirely new look for a classic movie. Everyone I grew up with loved House Party. To partner with this creative team to bring a new House Party to a new generation is unbelievable.”

I like how he said the film is not a reboot, and then goes on to describe it exactly how one would describe a reboot. In either case I'm excited to see Stephen Glover and Jamal Olori attached, as I love Atlanta, but I'll just admit right now I have not seen the original House Party films. Are they worth checking out, or should I wait for the reboot?
