Lee Pace Fights Robotic Foreign Invaders in Trailer for the Sci-Fi Film REVOLT

Lee Pace has played roles in some of Hollywood's biggest franchises like The Hobbit trilogy, Guardians of the Galaxy and now he's taking a leading role in an alien invasion movie called Revolt. The trailer looks like a cross between War of the Worlds and District 9. Revolt is helmed by first time director Joe Miale and is co-written by Rowan Athale (Wasteland)

SyFy Wire describes the plot:

Pace plays an American soldier in a war-ravaged African country who joins forces with a French foreign aid worker, played by Skyfall’s Berenice Marlohe, “amid humankind’s last stand against a cataclysmic alien invasion.” Their partnership will be tested when they seek refuge from the alien threat.

There is no U.S. release date yet.

This does look like an entertaining alien flick. It obviously doesn't look top tier, but sometimes these kind of movies are the most enjoyable. I know I would like to see it. What do you think?
