Legendary Comics Announces The Infinite Adventures of Jonas Quantum

If you thought the world was filled with far too many who believe they are brilliant rather than actually being brilliant, you are not alone. The Infinite Adventures of Jonas Quantum, a newly-announced series from Legendary Comics by Arrow writer Marc Guggenheim and artist Freddie Williams II, stars the latter type of character. 

Jonas Quantum is described as a hyper genius, an apt description if he can indeed cure death with his morning coffee. I myself am barely able to make coffee without somehow spilling it, so maybe I am underachieving...not really sure. Dealing with people at all however, well that seems to be something he struggles with (along with shaving, evidently). The book will launch in September of this year, but you can get a glimpse of the bold cover art above. 

"Genius with flaws" characters are hit and miss for me. For every fantastic Bruce Banner or Amadeus Cho, there is a Hank Pym or Reed Richards, characters that I just haven't been able to get behind or connect with for a variety of reasons. I'm looking forward to seeing what Guggenheim and Williams II have in store, but in the meantime let us know who your favorite geniuses are, whether it be in comics, TV, or film!
