LEGENDARY DUELISTS: SEASON 1 Revamps Fun Booster Packs with a Brand New Kind of Ultra Rare

Konami has some pretty awesome news for Yu-Gi-Oh! collectors. The company has decided to re-release two great packs for the trading card game with some awesome new shinies. Legendary Duelists and Legendary Duelists: Ancient Millennium are re-releasing as Legendary Duelists: Season 1. Each box will feature 1 of 7 Secret Rare variants of some of the most popular cards from the set such as Millennium-Eyes Restrict and Red-Eyes Slash Dragon.

In addition to the Secret Rare, each box will feature two 18-card packs with three Ultra Rare cards each. The really cool thing about these Ultra Rares is how they’re being done. Each pack will have one of four preview cards for the upcoming Rise of the Duelist pack in August (so you’ll get two per box) and the other two Ultra Rares will be a new kind of Ultra Rare. There are 16 different Ultra Rares, and each one will feature a stamped card name in either blue, green, or purple! I really wish they could’ve shared an image of what these new foils look like, but they sound really cool.

There are a total number of 121 cards in the Legendary Duelists: Season 1 set and here’s how they break down:

• 7 Secret Rares

• 16 colorful Ultra Rares (available in blue, green, or purple)

• 4 standard Ultra Rares

• 94 Commons

I can’t wait to check out this revamped set when it hits shelves on July 3.
