LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE Returns On CW With Big Changes

Nickelodeon was doing a lot of things in the 90’s. Between a variety of different TV Shows, movies and game shows, there was a lot to love. One of the most beloved shows was Legends of the Hidden Temple. This was essentially a game show with a variety of puzzles and obstacles that kids would participate in. Now, after almost 30 years, the show is coming back to the CW.

It is returning with a number of original concepts. The grand speaking Mayan head, Omlec, will return. A number of challenges like Temple Run and The Steps of Knowledge will also return. And we will even get the original team names like Blue Barracudas, Red Jaguars and Silver Snakes back. The major difference is that this will be a competition for adults, not children/pre-teens. It wouldn’t be a surprise if a number of the contestants were fans of the show when they were growing up and have been waiting for their chance to take on these grandiose challenges. There is currently no release window or timeline for the show, but hopefully we won’t turn into mummies waiting for its return.
