LEGO DIMENSIONS Trailer Focuses on PORTAL Addition - E3 2015

I had the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at Warner Bros. Interactive's new game LEGO Dimensions, and this thing is going to be freakin' spectacular. This is the ultimate game for any fan of the LEGO brand. The universe they are creating is so huge and full of all kinds of different worlds that collide in the most awesomely unexpected ways.

One of the things that they've included in the game was is the world of Portal, and today we have a trailer for you that shows off this small little corner of the LEGO Dimensions universe. It features Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle trying to get through the world of Portal.

GLaDOS (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System), the fictional, artificially intelligent computer system and main antagonist in the Portal video game series, puts the heroes of LEGO Dimensions through multiple tests that can only be solved by using the LEGO Toy Pad.

The game looks like it will be a ridiculous amount of fun. A lot of people will compare it to Disney Infinity, but LEGO Dimensions basically took that concept and made it even better. It's a wonderful mashup of pop culture greatness. Here are some additional details:

LEGO Dimensions, the upcoming entertainment experience that merges physical brick building with interactive console gameplay, will include gameplay from The Simpsons, Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, Portal, Jurassic World, Midway Arcade, LEGO Chima and Scooby Doo! These fan favorite worlds, most of which have never before been in a LEGO videogame, will converge with the previously announced DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings, The LEGO Movie, The Wizard of Oz, LEGO Ninjago and Back to the Future worlds in one thrilling adventure playable with the LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack.

The game is set to launch on September 27th, 2015. It will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation3 and the Wii U.
