LEGO DONKEY KONG Welcomes You to the Jungle This August
The LEGO Group recently announced some wild new sets. Coming off the success of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, the LEGO Super Mario universe is expanding with four new Donkey Kong sets! All four sets are set to release on August 1 at LEGO stores and on LEGO.com (affiliate link) with some available to pre-order now.
The big set of the group is the Donkey Kong’s Tree House which comes with Donkey Kong and Cranky Kong! You’ll also enjoy a buildable TV, radio, hammock, conga drums, and a secret compartment. This set has an MSRP of $59.99.
Next, we’ve got Diddy Kong’s Mine Cart Ride. This 1,157-piece set will take your figures on the important mine cart ride. You’ll get Diddy Kong and Funky Kong along with a Snaggles and a Mole Miner. There’s also Funky’s buildable airplane/shop with 2 Action Tags for your figures to react with. This set has an MSRP of $109.99.
Third, Dixie Kong and Squawks the parrot will chill with fans in Dixie Kong’s Jungle Jam. I love Dixie’s little guitar and there’s even a spare one for your favorite figures to jam on. This 174-piece set has an MSRP of $26.99.
Finally, Rambi the Rhino is a simple 106-piece set that gives you a Rambi figure that your other characters can ride on. You’ll also get a couple of rock elements you can stack to create obstacles. This set has an MSRP of $10.99.
