LEGO Is Bringing 2-Player Action to LEGO SUPER MARIO
LEGO recently announced that LEGO Super Mario was getting 2-player capabilities. With the new Adventures with Luigi Starter Course, fans will be able to connect LEGO Mario and LEGO Luigi (or any combination) to enjoy 2-player adventures. Work together to collect digital coins, defeat enemies, and overcome challenges. If that’s not your thing, you can always compete with each other instead. LEGO Luigi will be available in the Adventures with Luigi Starter Course on August 1.
Talking about the new capabilities, Simon Kent who serves as the Creative Lead for LEGO Super Mario said:
For us it’s all about encouraging continuous creative rebuilding and extended playtime. With today’s announcement, we’re not only bringing LEGO Mario and LEGO Luigi, their friends and enemies to life in new interactive ways for endless fun, we’re also thrilled to expand their play experience and the LEGO Super Mario universe with even more new sets and characters, something we really hope will excite fans.
