LEGO Unveils Their Latest Set Which is a Quaint Little Bookshop

Today, LEGO has unveiled their latest set and its inspiration. The set is a 3-story bookstore with an attached “modular” townhouse. The inspiration appears to be a European village or town as they go for the small-town vibe with the set. The thing that confuses me is that they keep referring to this as part of a collection of modular homes. Aren’t all LEGO sets modular? Isn’t that the point of LEGOs? Am I just misunderstanding things or are they hoping that the buzzword will get a larger audience?

10270 Bookshop is part of the LEGO Creator Expert family and comes with 5 minifigures and 2,504 pieces to build a quaint little scene. If built per the instructions, you’ll find the scene measures in at 11” tall, 9” wide, and 9” deep. If you like the looks of the set, you can head on over to LEGO’s website and purchase it for $179. The set will officially release on January 1, 2020.
