So, I’ll skip the stuff we saw in the preview and pick up in the Command Center where the Omega Rangers ask Zordon if he knows anything about the Empyreals. Zordon doesn’t know anything, but Alpha and Billy are going to look into it. This is also when the Omegas learn that Drakkon is being held prisoner down below, and they go to interrogate him. This is when we find out that the Empyreals are what Drakkon is running from. They want Drakkon put in their care as the only lead to the Empyreals, but Zordon forbids it flat out. He’s worried about Drakkon escaping and destroying the universe, and Tommy agrees that it’s too dangerous.
The Omegas spend the day with everyone, and Ernie’s excited to see them again. After that, the Omegas agree that they’ve only got one path: break Drakkon out! Oh boy. This is not going to end well, is it? They get Xi to teleport them into the Command Center via a closet and they move like ninjas to Drakkon’s cell. They’re breaking him out when Alpha shows up! Oh boy. Well, Drakkon damages Alpha, and as they’re leaving, Zordon appears and basically declares war on the Omegas for this. Jason actually has some cutting lines to Zordon which I found extremely powerful.
Where is this going? Are we going to have a fight between Omega Rangers and Power Rangers? How are these things going to reconcile? I can’t handle this!
