Let's Talk About THE CLONE WARS Season 7 Episode 8 - "Together Again"
Finally! We got to some good stuff in this storyline in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. As always, this is your warning that there are spoilers ahead if you haven’t watched “Together Again” yet. You can watch new episodes of The Clone Wars on Fridays on Disney+.
Oh man, I swear, these last four episodes could’ve been done in two. I will say that “Together Again” was actually interesting and basically what the last episode should’ve been. Ahsoka sneaking around the Pykes’ compound was a lot of fun to watch, and then there was that holocall with Darth Maul! WHAT!? That was pretty awesome and has me so stoked for this next story.
I’m still not a big fan of Rafa and Trace, but at least their attempt at stealing spice was entertaining. Seeing a human try to fight a Trandoshan with brute force is pretty funny to me though. The plan was an interesting one, but I still can’t believe Rafa actually thought there was a chance it would work.
One thing I did appreciate about the whole arc was the fact that not all people love the Jedi as they currently stand, but maybe it’s something that can be changed. Maybe there are things in our lives that we can help others appreciate more.
Of course, the big exciting moment (outside of Maul’s appearance) was when the ex-Death Watch Mandalorians came for Ahsoka. I’m curious how things are going to play out. Maul is over at Mandalore and has probably taken over which is why these Mandalorians are here. The question is, how will the Republic and the Jedi factor into everything?
