Let's Talk About the Hero of AVENGERS: ENDGAME That Didn't Get Any Respect from His Peers

While Avengers: Endgame was filled with heroes who did heroic things to help save the universe, some did more things than others. Some of the heroes even gave their lives in the process making the ultimate sacrifice.

But, if it wasn’t for one hero, taking down Thanos and undoing what he did in Avengers: Infinity War would have never been possible. That hero is Scott Lang, a.k.a. Ant-Man. Without his knowledge of the Quantum Realm and him reaching out to the surviving members of the team and pitching his crazy Back To The Future time heist idea, the world would not have been saved.

Now, one of the things that I loved about this, is that even though the idea to save the universe was his idea, almost everyone in the film was teasing him, and giving him crap. Not only about his time heist plan, but just in general. He didn’t get much respect, he was just the butt of everyone’s joke.

I mean, I get it, he is Ant-Man, but the only people that really gave him the time of day were Captain America, Black Widow, and Hulk, who was nice enough to share his tacos with him.

In the end, though, because of Ant-Man the Avengers were able to stop Thanos and save the universe. I just wanted to give a little attention and pay tribute to the man that made the whole plot of Avengers: Endgame possible.

Or, it can be argued that maybe the rat that accidentally brought Scott Lang out of the Quantum Realm was the real REAL hero.
