Liam Neeson Is a Bank Robber on the Run in Trailer for HONEST THIEF
Liam Neeson is back in action in an upcoming crime thriller coming to theaters titled Honest Thief. Neeson plays a bank robber who finds himself on the run from two dirty cops after he tries to leave the crime business behind him. Like all of Neeson’s recent films, the only way to survive is to fall back on his violent skills to fight back.
The film was written and directed by Ozark co-creator Mark Williams, who also helmed the 2016 Gerard Butler drama A Family Man. The movie also stars Anthony Ramos and Jai Courtney as the two dirty cops. Then you have Kate Walsh playing Neeson’s girlfriend and Robert Patrick taking on the role of a good cop, with Jeffrey Donovan and Jasmine Cephas Jones also starring.
Here’s the official synopsis for the movie:
They call him the In and Out Bandit because meticulous thief Tom Carter (Liam Neeson) has stolen $9 million from small-town banks while managing to keep his identity a secret. But after he falls in love with the bubbly Annie (Kate Walsh), Tom decides to make a fresh start by coming clean about his criminal past, only to be double-crossed by two ruthless FBI agents.
From the co-creator of Emmy-nominated series Ozark, thriller Honest Thief showcases Liam Neeson in a heartfelt tale of redemption, packed with fights, chases and explosions centered on one man’s mission to make things right for the sake of love.
