Liam Neeson, Noah Jupe, Jack Dylan Grazer and More to Join Heist Flick 4 KIDS WALK INTO A BANK
FilmNation is launching sales on a high profile package for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) market this month with the buzzy dark heist comedy 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank.
Taken star and Oscar nominee Liam Neeson is in talks to lead the project alongside a collection of fast-ascending actors including Never Rarely Sometimes Always breakout Talia Ryder, Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place), Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl), Jack Dylan Grazer (It, Shazam!) and newcomer Deacon Phillippe, son of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe.
Neeson will play ex-bank robber Danny, whose teenage granddaughter Paige (Ryder) means the world to him. So when she overhears that his former gang is pulling him back in for one more score to pay a debt, she comes up with the only logical solution: She enlists her three ride-or-die best friends to rob the bank the day before so he doesn’t have to.
Set to be directed by Frankie Shaw (SMILF), and based on the graphic novel by Matthew Rosenberg and Tyler Boss, the film was adapted by Matt Robinson with revisions by Frankie Shaw.
FilmNation is launching international sales on the film ahead of next week’s Toronto International Film Festival and market. This is still coming together and talent deals have yet to be completed, so there’s always room for change, but at the moment buyers have an attractive project to consider at the TIFF market.
