Liam Neeson Says Seth MacFarlane Wants Him to Star in a Remake of NAKED GUN

Earlier this week, we reported that actor Liam Neeson says he may be hanging up his action star hat after this year, as the actor will be turning 69 and can’t imagine the action roles will be coming in much longer. He has a few films in the pipeline, but imagines he won’t be keeping up the pace of the last decade, in which we saw him in new action films one after another. Another possibility is that the actor could turn to a comedic role that could spoof on all the action roles he has done over the years with a starring role in a Naked Gun remake.

Neeson told People magazine in an interview that he has been approached for the role, saying:

"I've been approached by Seth McFarlane and Paramount Studios to maybe resurrect the Naked Gun films. It'll either finish my career or bring it in another direction. I honestly don't know."

I think it would be awesome to see Neeson in this role! The Naked Gun movies are hilarious, and it would be so much fun to see the actor take himself a little less seriously onscreen. He would be filling the shoes of Leslie Nielsen, and I think it would be a great match. What do you think?
