Liam Neeson's Morals Are Tested in First Intriguing Trailer For THE COMMUTER
Liam Neeson and director Jaume Collet-Serra (Non-Stop, Unknown, The Shallows) have teamed up again for a new thriller called The Commuter. The story follows a mild-mannered insurance salesman who is invited to participate in an experiment on a commuter train that involves finding a person that doesn't belong on the train, and a lot of money. As you might imagine, because this is a Liam Neeson movie, things get crazy intense and out of hand as he has to fight for his life.
This has the makings of an entertaining thriller. I've enjoyed all of the films that Collet-Serra and Neeson have made together, so there's a good chance I'll like this one as well. I just think their wild stories are a lot of fun to watch. Here's the synospsis:
In this action-packed thriller, Liam Neeson plays an insurance salesman, Michael, on his daily commute home, which quickly becomes anything but routine. After being contacted by a mysterious stranger, Michael is forced to uncover the identity of a hidden passenger on his train before the last stop. As he works against the clock to solve the puzzle, he realizes a deadly plan is unfolding and is unwittingly caught up in a criminal conspiracy. One that carries life and death stakes for himself and his fellow passengers.
The Commuter also stars the wonderful Vera Farmiga. It's set to be released on January 12th, 2018.
